Sally Meadows Elementary School recently celebrated the building of a new pavilion in the newly renovated courtyard. The pavilion was made possible by funding provided by the Lowe’s Heroes Project and Meadows Regional Medical Center. Blount Construction headed up the building of the pavilion along with volunteers from the Vidalia Lowe’s Store, teachers from Sally Meadows, and the PTO. Principal Ginger Morris spoke at the event, “I am so proud to be a part of a community that is so giving. It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful the people are that are a part of this area.”
The pavilion will be utilized for outside classroom activity and enjoyment for teachers, students, and visitors. Sally Meadows Elementary School Staff and PTO wish to thank Lowe’s, Meadows Regional Medical Center, and Blount Construction.
